Thyroid, Adrenal, Pituitary and Hypothalamic Support* (* As recommended by holistic veterinarians for use under a traditional medical system)

DOG AND CAT KRYPTONITEis used holistically to help deliver vital nutrition to organs which are charged with supporting endocrine support, specifically thyroid and hypothalamic-pituitary adrenal (HPA) function; to help nutritionally balance adrenal function when imbalance is present due to its adaptogenic plant actions; may help nutritionally nourish and help regenerate stressed or under performing glandular function; may help restore proper metabolic function, which is essential to all body systems and may help limit diseases caused by metabolic dysfunction such as obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular, Cushing's and Addison's disease due to its high antioxidant, free radical fighting, nutritional and adaptogen plant actions and plant profile.

DOG AND CAT KRYPTONITE contains an impressive array of supportive organic whole foods and super nutrients including antioxidants, 19 amino acids!, super foods, first class adaptogens and plant botanicals, alkaloids, fatty acids (linoleic and oleic acid), lysophosphatidic acids (LPA), digestive enzymes, isothiocyanates, bio-available protein, glucosinolates, macro and micro minerals, including iron, magnesium, calcium, copper, iodine, iron, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, zinc, saponins, tannins; a variety of sterols (including sitosterol, campestrol, ergosterol, brassicasterol and ergostadienol) plus vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B3, vitamin B12, vitamin C, vitamin D3 and vitamin E and critical nutrients like taurine and tryptophan.

When combined, these nutrients may synergistically help build resistance to metabolic, oxidative, physiological, biochemical, physical, emotional, environmental, immune, urinary/bladder, Central Nervous, and neurological stress and imbalance in your pet's body systems.

Used holistically for its natural plant chemical content to help nourish your pet's endocrine system, responsible for the production and maintenance of hormones charged with supporting every body system, including cells, tissues and organs.

Maca has a history of use for animals for over 3,000 years and has been widely researched for its nutritional and potential health benefits for dogs, cats and horses.

Journal of Veterinarian Medicine and PetFoodIndustry recognizes maca as functional food for dogs and cats

DOG AND CAT KRYPTONITEcontains alterative and adaptogenic herbs which have been studied extensively for their vital role in helping improve resistance to stress and for potential disease prevention properties; may help promote glandular balance (HPA= hypothalamic, adrenal, pituitary (master gland) plus thyroid and pineal gland support.)

Its natural phytochemical base may help prevent or bypass thyroid and glandular dysfunction by feeding gland health via nutrients as well as adpatogens which bridge nutritional gaps); may help fight infection in the body; and due to its phosphatidyl serine content, it may also provide neuro-protective (brain, cognitive) benefits from free radical damage, important in supporting brain health including mental focus, concentration, alertness and mental acuity for dogs and cats.

The natural plant chemicals contained in this botanical wonder are impressive and have been recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) as super foods. Maca and Suma are also designated as level one herbal adaptogens, which works intrinsically and synergistically with the animal body to identify and manage metabolic stress. Maca and Suma have also been qualified as functional foods due to their nutritive content which nourishes the endocrine, cardiovascular, digestive, reproductive, circulatory and excretory systems; as well as may act a general disease preventative.

It is also used in the veterinarian holistic and integrative treatment of Alzheimer's disease and Cognitive Disorder (sometimes incorrectly referred to as dog and cat dementia.) The brain supportive aspect may be particularly useful for pets with Lyme disease as Dog and Cat Kryptonite's plant constituents provide blood-brain barrier protection, which is critical when Lyme disease presents as it helps prevent unhealthy cells from attacking healthy brain tissue. (* As recommended by holistic veterinarians for use under a traditional medical system)

DOG AND CAT KRYPTONITE may also help to deliver plant nutrients to help energize and balance the endocrine system; functions as a phytoestrogen to help balance hormones, may help rebuild or repair glandular tissue when dysfunction is present and may help regulate electrolyte balance, which are all critical in cases such as Cushing's disease. Is used as an adjunctive for Cushing's disease (also called hyperadrenocorticism and sometimes referred to as hyperthyroidism); including Pituitary-dependent hyperadrenocorticism (PDH) and Adrenal-dependent hyperadrenocorticism (ADH). (* As recommended by holistic veterinarians for use under a traditional medical system)

It is also used holistically and may help address symptoms related to stress, fatigue and debility; may help stabilize cortisol levels, especially important in cases of excess cortisol; may help manage symptoms related to Cushing's disease, including thirst, urination and panting; may help address rashes, scabs, flaking skin and susceptibility to infection. Interestingly, Maca is an adaptogen and may be used adjunctively for Addison's disease; (sometimes called chronic adrenal insufficiency, or hypocortisolism). Did you know adaptogens function as "body readers" which may help to correct and to repair dysfunction present in the adrenal glands and may help correct low cortisol production. (* As recommended by holistic veterinarians for use under a traditional medical system)

DOG AND CAT KRYPTONITE contains protein, enzymes, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, fats and natural hormones which may help address anemia; alkaloid, vitamin and mineral content which may help support bone mass and is used holistically for osteoporosis, Degenerative Joint Disease and rheumatism. Natural plant chemicals may help provide pain relief for back and muscle aches; may help diabetic animals by balancing blood sugar levels; may improve pancreatic function; may reduce insulin fluctuation and is used holistically for hypoglycemia. (* As recommended by holistic veterinarians for use under a traditional medical system)

Maca is class="apple-converted-space">bio-available water and fat soluble, class="apple-converted-space"> style="font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; float: none; word-spacing: 0px;">meaning you cook, bake, serve it raw or sprinkle on your pet's diet and it can be fully assimilated. It's also safe for all life stage animals, including puppies, kittens to adult and senior dogs and cats. Another important nutritional component is that it may help support electrolyte balance, a critical need for immuno-compromised, convalescing or at-risk dogs and cats.

Finally, secondary plant chemicals may provide relief from Allergic Dermatitis; and may be useful in the holistic treatment of Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV); Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD); as an immune support and adjunctive for Bordatella, Parvovirus and for distemper; may benefit animals diagnosed with vaccinosis; for its potential secondary support of epilepsy and for Helicobacter Pylori (H. Pylori). * (* As recommended by holistic veterinarians for use under a traditional medical system)
